This version was used to calibrate version 1.0 of the HRIV, MRI, and ITS Navigation images data sets as well as version 2.0 of the HRII, HRIV, MRI, and ITS science data sets archived in the PDS. The pipeline was designed to calibrate both IR spectral and visible CCD images from raw data numbers to physical units of radiance (Watts/[cm**2 sr um]) and I-over-F (unitless, radiance divided by the solar flux). The calibration pipeline produced reversible, uncleaned data in units of radiance RADREV) and I-over-F (IFREV), as well as irreversibly-cleaned data in units of radiance (RAD) and I-over-F (IF). It is noted that the reduced Navigation data sets contain only RADREV data and that no I-over-F data were archived for the HRI IR spectrometer (HRII). The calibration pipeline software together with the calibration files, such as flat fields and dark frames archived in version 1.0 of the reduced Navigation images data sets as well as those in version 2.0 of the science data sets, make up version 5.00 of the Deep Impact calibration pipeline. Each procedure (*.PRO, *.C) is commented. These comments, together with the AAREADME.TXT, AAGUIREADME.TXT, AAINSTALL.TXT, IR_TEMP_MANUAL_SCALING_2006.TXT files, and the Deep Impact instrument calibration paper by Klaasen et al.
