This orientation is provided for whole period when was DII attached to the DIF.Status-------------------------------------------------------- This file was created at the end of the primary mission, on September 13, 2005 for archiving in Planetary Data System (PDS).Pedigree-------------------------------------------------------- While in the attached configuration the DII and DIF frames should have been co-aligned, in reality there was a misalignment between them. This misalignment was determined during cruise from series of calibration images taken by ITS camera mounted on DII. This file, generated manually by running MSOPCK program, incorporates the following rotation from the 'DIF_SPACECRAFT' to 'DII_SPACECRAFT' frame derived from the initial ITS alignment calibration data (images taken on 2005-054) by the DI OPNAV Team (Nick Mastrodemos): Mfb->imp = [0.10757319]y * [-0.29038908]x * [0.20037776]z The angles above are in degrees. They were computed from the following two ACS-style quaternions providing nominal and actual calibrated rotations from the flyby to ITS opnav frame: Nominal qb2ITS (nav): (-0.35355339059327, -0.61237243569579, 0.35355339059327, 0.61237243569579 ) Actual qb2ITS (nav): (-0.353704707875338, -0.611517979330684, 0.356504068119553, 0.611427501831859 )Approximate Time Coverage-------------------------------------------------------- This file covers the following time period: Coverage Begin UTC Coverage End UTC ------------------------ ----------------------- 2005-JAN-12 19:25:45.675 2005-JUL-03 05:59:59.998 This file is a type 2 CK file containing a single fixed orientation data point. It covers from the start time to the stop time specified above. Start time corresponds to the earlier data point in the DIF CK, while the end time is the nominal time of DII and DIF separation.Usage Note-------------------------------------------------------- In order to use this file a DII SCLK file, containing coefficients mapping DII on-board time to ET, standard LSK file, providing UTC to ET mapping, and DI Frame Definitions file must be loaded into a user's program.Contacts-------------------------------------------------------- If you have any questions regarding this data contact NAIF at JPL: Boris V.
