Mt. Bigelow Kuiper Telescope (61-inch) Images of 9P/Tempel 1 |
Status: Save-the-Bits
This volume contains six images of 9P/Tempel 1 taken over five nights in 1994 by Uwe Fink, using the 61-inch Kuiper Telescope on Mt. Bigelow. The images appear to be reduced to instrumental units. Insufficient documentation was available to bring the data to review, but the images are being saved in case they are of use as is, or additional documentation is discovered.
A brief overview of the volume contents is located in the aareadme.txt file. Known errata are listed in the errata.txt file.
Catalog files contain the overview information and parameters used in loading the PDS central catalog, specifically, or for developing other interfaces to the data outside of PDS. The information they contain, particularly in their descriptive text fields, should be clear, complete, and understandable to a research user who is not necessarily a mission or instrument specialist.

The data are provided as FITS images with detached PDS labels. They are all in the data/ subdirectory.
