BROWSE Directory Contents
The BROWSE directory provides a browse facility implemented as a web site
to provide a method for viewing JPEG versions of the FITS data products in
this data set. The web site contains a main HTML index file, BROWSE.HTM,
that links to daily HTML files that display a thumbnail and a full-frame
JPEG image for each data product. The entry point for accessing the web
web site is BROWSE.HTM.
The thumbnail files are the full-frame JPEG images resized to a smaller,
consistent width and height of 80x40 pixels. The brightness of some
JPEG images may differ from the corresponding FITS images because of the
stretch used when generating the JPEG images.
