High Spectral Resolution of 122P/deVico 1 |
Status: Archived
This volume contains an atlas of cometary spectral lines from high resolution measurements of comet 122P/deVico 1.
An overview of the volume contents is provided in the aareadme.txt file.
Catalog files contain the overview information and parameters used in loading the PDS central catalog, specifically, or for developing other interfaces to the data outside of PDS. The information they contain, particularly in their descriptive text fields, should be clear, complete, and understandable to a research user who is not necessarily a mission or instrument specialist.
These files are located in the catalog/ subdirectory. The directory contents are described by the catinfo.txt file.
A description of the documentation files available is in the docinfo.txt file in the document/ subdirectory.
A brief extract from Cochran and Cochran (2000) describing the transitions included in the data files as well as notes on how the published notation was converted to flat ASCII. This file is in HTML format, with a separate PDS label file.
Context and identification plots are also provided in three different formats: PDF, PostScript and PNG:
See the contents.txt or contents.ps file for a Table of Contents listing that maps order (and file name) to wavelength range. Page numbers in the far right columns refer to the file printed as a single document.
See the contents.txt file for a Table of Contents listing that maps order (and file name) to wavelength range. Page numbers in the far right columns refer to the file printed as a single document. Note that in this directory each order is split into two separate files (left and right pages).
The data are all in the data/ subdirectory. File names indicated the species tabulated (all means "all species" and unid contains unidentified lines). PDS labels are in separate files with the same name as the corresponding data table and an extension of .lbl.
