This file is extracted from the IRTF home page listing filter specifications Filter scans were performed on a Perkin-Elmer 1600 Series FTIR Bandpass limited from 1.3uM to 27uM. A tilt mechanism that holds the filter samples was built to reduce/eliminate internal reflections that could produce erroneous data readings. In addition, we fabricated a cryostat that cooled filters to about 80-100 Deg. Kelvin. Two data file formats are listed as available through the IRTF home page: *.SP files are Perkin-Elmer (binary) format and can be viewed using the program "lookat.exe". The data is not scaleable. Useful information such as the instrument setup and the test conditions are available here. *.PRN files are ascii format containing two columns of data; wavenumber vs. transmission percentage. The *.SP file were converted to *.PRN file by the list.exe program at the Small Bodies Node. Each *.PRN file has an associated PDS label in which the *.PRN file is treated as a table. Only PRN files are included with transmissions given to 3 significant figures. The file names for the filters can interpreted as follows: ####&%%%.sp or ####&%%%.prn #### - instrument name ie. ncam is NSFCam & - c > cold scan (80-100 Deg.K) w > warm scan (23 Deg.C) %%% - Filter name or uM center bandpass This table contains information for the interference filters: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Filename PROD_ID FILTER_NAME, WAVELENGTH (u=micron) ROWS ncamback.prn ncamback BckScn C_K,Br-G,Pa-G 3714 ncamcbrg.prn ncamcbrg Bracket Gamma 2.166u 3714 ncamcc_k.prn ncamcc_k Cont K 2.23-2.29u 3714 ncamch21.prn ncamch21 H2 (1-0) 2.122u 3714 ncamch22.prn ncamch22 H2 (2-1) 2.248u 3714 ncamchei.prn ncamchei HeI 1.083u 3714 ncamclp.prn ncamclp L Prime 3714 ncamcmp2.prn ncamcmp2 M Prime 2 3714 ncamcp5a.prn ncamcp5a PK-50 #2 Blocker 3701 ncamcp5b.prn ncamcp5b PK-50 #3 Blocker 3701 ncamcpab.prn ncamcpab Paschen-B 1.282u 3714 ncamcpag.prn ncamcpag Paschen-G 1.094u 3714 ncamcs17.prn ncamcs17 Spencer 1.7u 3714 ncamcs23.prn ncamcs23 Spencer 2.3u 3714 ncamcshk.prn ncamcshk Short K 2.00-2.35u 3714 ncamc_bk.prn ncamc_bk Scan Background 3714 ncamc_co.prn ncamc_co CO (2-0) 2.295u 3714 ncamc_fe.prn ncamc_fe FeII 1.644u 3714 ncamc_h.prn ncamc_h H 3714 ncamc_j.prn ncamc_j J 3714 ncamc_k.prn ncamc_k K 3714 ncamc_kp.prn ncamc_kp K Prime 3714 ncamc_l.prn ncamc_l L 3714 ncamc_m.prn ncamc_m M 3714 ncamwcaf.prn ncamwcaf Warm CaF2 Window #1 3701 ncamcmp1.prn ncamcmp1 M Prime 1 3714 This table contains information for the cvf filters: --------------------------------------------------------------------- FILENAME PROD_ID FILTER_NAME ROWS backc1w.prn backc1w CVF#1 BckScWrm 200sc 3851 backc2w.prn backc2w CVF#2 200sc wrm bck 3701 backc3w.prn backc3w CVF#3 BckSc Wrm 3701 c1c1.prn c1c1 CVF#1 Cld 2.u 87.2 K 3851 c1c2.prn c1c2 CVF#1 200sc 87.2 K 3851 c1c3.prn c1c3 CVF#1 216 K 3851 c1c4.prn c1c4 CVF#1 296 K 3851 c1c5.prn c1c5 CVF#1 Wrm (296 K) 3851 c1w1.prn c1w1 CVF#1 Wrm 3851 c1w2.prn c1w2 CVF#1 Wrm 1.97u 3851 c1w3.prn c1w3 CVF#1 Wrm 1.71u 3851 c1w4.prn c1w4 CVF#1 Wrm 2.u 200sc 3851 c2c1.prn c2c1 CVF#2 Cld 86 K 200sc 3701 c2w1.prn c2w1 CVF#2 200sc 3.5 wrm 3701 c2w2.prn c2w2 CVF#2 200sc wrm 3701 c3c1.prn c3c1 CVF#3 Cool to 200 K 3701 c3c2.prn c3c2 CVF#3 Cool to 120 K 3701 c3c3.prn c3c3 CVF#3 Cool to 90 K 3701 c3c4.prn c3c4 CVF#3 88.5 K 200sc 3701 c3c5.prn c3c5 CVF#3 298.1 K 200sc 3701 c3w1.prn c3w1 CVF#3 Wrm Sc 296 K 3701 cvf1c1.prn cvf1c1 CVF#1 1.51u Cut 3101 cvf2c1.prn cvf2c1 NSF#2 2.72u Cut 3101 cvf2c2.prn cvf2c2 CVF#2 4.29u Cut 3101 cvf3c1.prn cvf3c1 CVF#3 4.54u Cut 3101 cvf3c2.prn cvf3c2 CVF#3 5.61u Cut 3101
