Rosetta: Thermal-Vacuum Test
|
Status: In Lien Resolution
This data set contains raw spectroscopic, continuum, and engineering data, in the form of table files, for the ground thermal-vacuum tests performed at NASA/JPL for the MIRO instrument of the Rosetta mission. These data were collected from 21 May 2001 through 29 June 2001.
The entire data set including catalog, document, index, and supporting files can be downloaded here:

An overview of the volume contents is provided in the aareadme.txt file.
Catalog files contain the overview information and parameters used in loading the PDS central catalog, specifically, or for developing other interfaces to the data outside of PDS. The information they contain, particularly in their descriptive text fields, should be clear, complete, and understandable to a research user who is not necessarily a mission or instrument specialist.
These files are located in the catalog/ directory. The directory contents are described by the catinfo.txt file.
In addition to the small text files located throughout the volume to describe directory contents, some specific documents are provided to assist with understanding the data and processing involved. These files are located in the document/ directory. The directory contents are described by the docinfo.txt file.
The data/ directory contains raw spectroscopic, continuum, and engineering data in the form of binary table files (*.dat). Each data file has a detached PDS label (*.lbl). The data are grouped into these subdirectories:
The label/ directory contains ASCII format files which define the structures of the different types of binary tables in the data/ subdirectories. The directory contents are described by the labinfo.txt file.
The index/ directory contains the required PDS index into the files in the data directory, as well as the checksum file.
