This data set collection contains addenda data for the International Halley   
Watch Archive which have been been collected, archived, processed,            
and prepared for this prototype CD-WO by several teams associated with        
the ground-based survey   projects and coordinated by the PDS Small Bodies    
Node. This data set collection gathers additional material for the study of   
Comets Giacobini-Zinner (GZ) and Halley                                       
                                                                              
Currently two (of possible 6) groups of data are included on this volume.     
These are:                                                                    
                                                                              
        Outburst Images -       Collected images (Cerro Tololo Interamerican  
                                Obs and University of Hawaii Mauna Kea Obs);  
                                images oriented with North up and East to left
The data files were submitted in both the PDS and FITS form.   In the latter  
case, a FITS to PDS translator program (F2P) has been used to create the      
detached PDS labels for each corresponding FITS file.    The data were checked
by manipulating the data with IDL routines developed at the Small Bodies Node 
Documents give explanatory text, user manuals (Postscript or Acrobat or ASCII 
with figures), and articles (digitized after permission granted by authors    
and IEEE. All document files and most labels contain an 80-byte fixed length  
record, with a carriage return (ASCII 13) and line feed (ASCII 10) as the     
79th and 80th byte respectively.   All the tabular files in the INDEX and     
DOCUMENT directory are formatted according to PDS standards.
