This information file describes the volume DOCUMENT/ directory which          
contains documentation which should be of use to the                          
CONTOUR Archive user.

so refer to that volume for documentation when reviewing the other data

These are not PDS-reviewed documents. The CONTOUR spacecraft lost contact     
with the Earth about a month after launch and the mission was ended           
soon after that.  These documents were contributed by the CONTOUR             
Science Team and others.  Because the mission was not completed, much         
of the work documented here was not completed; this archive is                
only meant to document what was done up to that point on CONTOUR and          
to support future cometary missions.
