The INDEX directory includes an ASCII index table that contains one           
record for each data product on this volume.  Each record identifies the      
location of a data file on this volume and provides scientifically useful     
parameters extracted from the associated PDS label.  All fields in the        
table are separated by commas, and character fields enclosed in double        
quotation marks to allow the table to be easily imported into                 
spreadsheet programs.                                                         
                                                                              
  INDEX.TAB    - Volume index table with one entry for each data product in   
                 the data/ directory.  Entries provide scientifically useful  
                 parameters such as instrument mode, filter, and integration  
                 duration as well as the required PDS parameters.             
                                                                              
  INDEX.LBL    - PDS detached label for INDEX.TAB                             
                                                                              
  CUMINDEX.TAB - Cumulative index table with entries for all data/ files      
                 in the complete volume set

  CHECKSUM.TAB - This file contains a table of MD5 checksums for every
