DOCUMENT Directory Contents
The latest version and other formats (e.g. ASCII text) of all documents
for the Deep Impact and EPOXI missions are available in the Deep Impact
and EPOXI documentation dataset, DI-C-HRII/HRIV/MRI/ITS-6-DOC-SET-V4.0,
available online at http://pds.nasa.gov. However, several of the most
useful documents are duplicated here in PDF/A format for convenience.
Please note these may be an older version. Each specific document has
have an accompanying PDS label file that describes content and structure.
Label files have the same name as the main document file but with an
extension of ".LBL".
The following files are found in this directory:
- The file you are now reading.
- "Day of Year Calendar" for perpetual and leap years.
- This subdirectory contains the IDL programs used for this photometric
analysis, which are provided only as documentation.
- "Anomalous Behavior of the MRI during EPOXI approach to 103P/Hartley 2"
describes the elevated signal in Hartley 2 MRI images acquired 5-25
September 2010 and concludes it was caused by a small light leak that
allowed sunlight to enter the instrument for solar elongations between
118 and 128 degrees.
- "EPOXI 103P/Hartley 2 MRI Photometry" report describes the methods and
analysis used to create the photometry and error tables in this dataset.
