The original data set description contained there lines:

    ... The data from the Infrared Polarimetry
    subnetwork contains 137 observations spanning dates from
    1985 September 16 through 1986 June 1.

But this does not appear to be true.  Only 14 files were found, with a 
start date of 1985-09-21 and total observation count of 49 (i.e., total 
lines in all files).  What happened to the rest of the data?
