Abstract: This data set contains Raw data taken by the New Horizons Radio Science Experiment (REX) instrument during the Pluto encounter mission phase. This is VERSION 1.0 of this data set. This REX dataset includes operational tests and calibrations taken during the approach to Pluto, including a series of ground in the loop tests to prepare for the Pluto and Charon occultations. From the day of the Pluto Encounter, two observations are included, the bi-static radar THERMSCAN data, which measured the DSN uplink signal reflected off of Pluto during the flyby, and the Pluto occultation data for both ingress and egress.
