Lucy TTCam Calibration Collection Data Set Overview =============================================================================== This collection consists of calibration products used in the calibration of TTCam data products. The calibration products fall into one of three categories Flatfield files, Bad Pixel Map files, and Pipeline Input Parameter files. The application and use of the files is described here and in the TTCam SIS and TTCam CDP User's Guide documents found in the documents collection of this archive. Data Products =============================================================================== Flatfield files ---------------- These products are .FITS format files that contain normalized pixel-to-pixel Responsivity ("flatfield") variation correction values for the two flight TTCam instruments. The files were derived from ground calibration measurements and are used for the Dinkinesh observations. The "sn194503masterflat_v1" files are used for flatfielding of the Primary TTCam1 camera, and the "sn194504masterflat_v1" files are used for flatfielding of the Secondary (backup) TTCam2 camera. As described in Equation 15 in the TTCam calibration paper by Zhao et al. (2024) found in the documents collection of this archive, the normalized flatfield values are divided by the other calibration factors in the calibration pipeline process. Bad Pixel Map files ------------------- These products are .FITS format files that contain a pixel by pixel assessment of Pixel quality ("bad pixel maps") as determined by pre-flight calibration observations. Values of 0 mean that the pixel is good, and values of 1 mean that the pixel was Determined to be bad (anomalously high or low responsivity) in pre-flight testing. The "sn194503bpm_v1" files are used for pixel quality of the Primary TTCam1 camera, and the "sn194504bpm_v1" files are used for pixel quality of the Secondary (backup) TTCam2 camera. Pipeline Input Parameter files ------------------------------ These products are simple text files that provide the default inputs to the TTCam calibration pipeline code. Each file contains six lines, which provide input information about: (1) the dark current model parameters and their uncertainties; (2) the radiance conversion coefficient and its uncertainty; (3) the DN values Corresponding to nonlinearity and saturation; (4) the system scale factor (gain) and Its uncertainty; (5) the name of the Bad Pixel Map file; and (6) the name of the Flatfield file. The "sn194503param.txt" files are used for pixel quality of the Primary TTCam1 camera, and the "sn194504param.txt" files are used for pixel quality of the Secondary (backup) TTCam2 camera.
