END_OBJECT = TEXT END Introduction ============ This document provides an overview of the Rosetta Lander ancillary data set for comet phase, including a complete description of the volume structure. Additional documents included on this archive (DOCUMENT diretory) provide more details. This data set contains navigation, related observation geometry and other ancillary data for the ROSETTA Lander. See the file ``MISSION.CAT'' in the ``/CATALOG'' directory for a description of the mission and the file ``INSTHOST.CAT'' in the same directory for a description of the spacecraft. The Lander trajectory, sun direction are provided by SONC FD team using RMOC (comet ephemeris an rotation) data, gravity model from GRGS (Groupe de Recherche de Geodesie Spatiale), shape models from OSIRIS. The Lander attitude is derived from ROMAP data. All files are .ROS or .TXT files. Data included in the dataset ============================ This data set is contained on a single virtual volume, RLAN_1000 File Formats ============ All text documents and other meta information files such as descriptions, PDS object definitions and detached PDS labels are text files, with a carriage return (ASCII 13) and a line feed character (ASCII 10) at the end of each line. This allows the files to be read by MS-DOS/Windows, Unix and MacOS operating systems.
