Each file comes with a detached PDS label. Note that there is *not* a one to one correspondence between the DATA products and the BROWSE products. Instead, BROWSE products are provided either as quarterly or monthly overviews. BROWSE products are also only provided for a selected set of parameters in the data sets, carefully chosen as being of most interest to have as thumbnails to help browse through the data sets and select data and periods of interest. For the OCM/RCS dataset, Browse products have been produced solely for the comet phase of the mission. They begin when the satellite comes out of hibernation in Jan 2014 and continue on a 3 monthly (QX - see below) basis until 30th Sept 2016. For further details of the BROWSE product implementation, please see the USER_GUIDE.PDF and the EAICD_HK.PDF documents in the DOCUMENT directory. For further details of the BROWSE product implementation, please see the USER_GUIDE.PDF and the EAICD_HK.PDF documents in the DOCUMENT directory. The BROWSE file naming convention is defined to match with the part of the directory structure defined in the /DATA directories, i.e. _. or _. where: is the housekeeping parameter presented is the year an month shown in the thumbnail is the year and quarter shown in the thumbnail is either PNG for the browse file or LBL for the corresponding PDS label file Note that for this dataset, many of the parameter_id values could not be used in full for the filenaming, as this would then break the maximum length of a filename in the PDS Standards. As a result, the follwoing changes were necessary to the parameter_id used in the DATA subdirectory structure when applied to the BROWSE filenames: For the OCMRCS data set, several of the parameter_ids were too long and produced invalid filenames. The following changes were made to the filenames and all relevant PRODUCT_ID, FILE_NAME and pointer values in the LBL files, and the BROWINFO.TXT updated to inform the user accordingly: Filename in BROWSE ---------------------- ------------------ OCM_EST_DIST_TORQUES_YYYY_QX.* --> OCM_EST_DIST_TORQUE_YYYY_QX.* RCS_CUM_FUEL_THRUST_CONS_YYYY_QX.* --> RCS_CUM_FUEL_THRUST_YYYY_QX.* RCS_CUM_THRUST_CONS_1_TO_8_YYYY_QX.* --> RCS_CUM_THRUST_1_8_YYYY_QX.* RCS_CUM_THRUST_CONS_9_TO_12_YYYY_QX.* --> RCS_CUM_THRUST_9_12_YYYY_QX.* RCS_THRUST_ON_CYCLES_1_TO_8_YYYY_QX.* --> RCS_THRUST_ON_1_8_YYYY_QX.* RCS_THRUST_ON_CYCLES_9_TO_12_YYYY_QX.* --> RCS_THRUST_ON_9_12_YYYY_QX.*
