" END_OBJECT = TEXT END Overview ======== This file acts as a Software Interface Specification (SIS) Table of Contents to direct the user to those files which comprise a SIS for the data products in this data set. SIS-equivalent files - Summary ============================== DATA/DATAINFO.TXT - Layout of, and guide to reading, data products DOCUMENT/ONLABELS.TXT - Description of PDS labels for data products DOCUMENT/ACROABBR.TXT - Acronyms and abbreviations used in this data set SIS-equivalent files - Details ============================== The data products in this data set are provided as digital files, each with a human- and machine-readable PDS label that may be detached (contained within the same file) or attached (contained within a separate file). The data are contained within those files, and there are three flat ASCII text files that serve as a SIS i.e. that document their contents: DATA/DATAINFO.TXT ----------------- The file DATAINFO.TXT in the DATA/ directory of this data set describes the layout of data in the data products in this data set. Further, it describes strategies and techniques that may be used to read the data products. DOCUMENT/ONLABELS.TXT --------------------- The file ONLABELS.TXT in the DOCUMENT/ directory of this data set summarizes the PDS labels for the data products in this data set. Each keyword in the PDS labels is listed and its meaning defined. For more information, the user is directed to the PDS Standards Reference and the PDS Data Dictionary (PDSDD), both available from PDS. DOCUMENT/ACROABBR.TXT --------------------- A list of acronyms and abbreviations used in the Stardust-NExT mission data sets. For more general information about this data set, the user is further directed to the file AAAREADME.TXT in the DOCUMENT/ directory which functions as a Table of Contents and Quick-start guide for the data set as a whole. History ======= There is no single document in this data set which could be called a Software Interface Specification (SIS) as was requested by the peer reviewers. However, there are several files created for this data set which describe the data in detail. Rather than duplicate that effort, or cobble together an unfocused SIS as is present in many other PDS data sets, the Stardust-NExT project chose to create this brief file as a pointer to the existing files to provide SIS-equivalent functionality.
