The Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, and Security-Regolith Explorer (OSIRIS-REx) is a sample-return mission to the Near Earth Asteroid (101955) Bennu. OSIRIS-REx will reach Bennu in late fall 2018 and orbit for about a year collecting data, followed by touch-and-go sample collection and return to earth.
The SBN, through its Asteroid Subnode, is the lead node for archiving OSIRIS-REx.
